Ah yes, I love hearing about sex work in other towns, because it is so completely different than anything I have ever known (aside from reading about big city sex work in books). In the southern town that I live in, we have just a little over 200,000 people and not a single ad in the phone book for male escorts (and only half a page for cis female escorts) and I have only ever heard of one active sex worker, who does not identify as female... and that's me, which is weird to think about (I don't identify as male, but generally pretend to be for clients. I have the occasional date with dudes who are looking for a 'TS/TG', but that's pretty rare.). In this town, as far as I can tell, we actually have more Transwomen who I know of, turning tricks, than cis-guys, so competition looks completely different here.

Hi TSF - I'm so sorry, I totally dropped the ball on this website and checked it this month for the first time in 3 months because I want to start writing on it again!
I've kind of revised my ideas on payment structure. It seems as if the median income for sex work of cis women is probably higher than it is for trans women (who usually get paid A LOT or very little, but rarely mid range). It's interesting that you've seen faggots make more money than cis-women. In the SF bay that is definitely not true -in both street based and indoor work cis women make more (in general) than cis and trans guys, that really could be because of the amount of gay sex you can get for free here keeping the price down. I've heard - as a trans guy - that if I want to make more money I should go some place like southern california or the midwest for less competition. The stigma being more for ciswomen than faggots is a pretty clear cut case of misogynistic society but I'm not sure if it has to do with price differentials - I think that's more based on competition defining the market. Thanks for your thought provoking comments though!

I love dick checks, so much. Something about then is really amusing for me and I always love cheesing it up, as much as possible. "OH MY GAWD look at that HOT COCK. I can't wait for you to CHOKE ME with IT". In reality, I am thinking something like "aw, this penis is cute".

Hello darling!

This project of yours is absolutely fabulous! I was thinking more about the gender hierarchy of payment and while I agree that Transwomen are at the top, I am wondering about the placement of cismen and ciswomen (cissies, if you will). In my experience, I have seen faggots making more money per call than ciswomen, but they don't make as many calls, so overall they don't make as much, maybe. I have also seen that their isn't nearly as much stigma applied to faggots who turn tricks, as ciswomen, I am wondering if that would have anything to do with those numbers? I also am basing almost everything I know about what I have seen down here in the deep south, so I am sure things are at least slightly different.

Love,
